Meet another one of our new Storybook Ballet teachers this summer, Miss Kendall!
Miss Kendall is a passionate dancer and teacher with a love for sharing the magic of ballet with young movers. Her formal training began right here in Madison before taking her to the Interlochen Arts Academy and the Kirov Academy of Ballet. She later earned a BFA in Dance Performance from Southern Methodist University. Currently an apprentice with Kanopy Dance Company, Kendall is also pursuing a Master’s degree in Arts and Creative Enterprise Leadership at the University of Wisconsin.
Having trained with prestigious programs across the country, Miss Kendall brings a rich background in ballet, modern dance, and jazz to her teaching. She is thrilled to guide her students through the wonder of dance, helping each child discover the joy of movement, self-expression, and growth in the art form they love.

Meet Storybook Ballet’s newest Teacher Assistant and current Miss Wisconsin’s Teen, Meredith!
Meredith is an incoming senior at Edgewood High School. She began her dance training at Storybook Ballet thirteen years ago, and for the past five years, she has trained as a pre-professional ballet dancer at Central Midwest Ballet Academy.
Throughout her training, Meredith has attended summer intensive programs with the Kansas City Ballet, Texas Ballet Theater, Cincinnati Ballet, and Colorado Ballet. She was also awarded year-round training scholarships from both Kansas City Ballet and Texas Ballet Theater.
Outside the studio, Meredith is the founder and director of The Ballet Bridge, a nonprofit organization dedicated to creating accessibility within the arts by providing dancewear, pointe shoes, and tuition aid to young dancers. Through this work, she has helped raise thousands of dollars to ensure that financial barriers do not prevent dancers from pursuing their passion.
In June 2026, Meredith was honored to be crowned Miss Wisconsin’s Teen. She is excited to use her year of service to advocate for arts accessibility and inspire young people to pursue the activities they love while making a difference in their communities.
Meredith is excited to return to Storybook Ballet, where her own dance journey first began, and is grateful for the opportunity to give back to the studio that sparked her love of dance. Meredith looks forward to helping students build a lifelong appreciation for the art of ballet.

Does anyone recognize this young dancer?
It's Mrs. Mast! Mrs. Mast's love of ballet began exactly where many of our dancers are today, with a pair of ballet slippers and a passion for movement!
Every dancer starts somewhere. Who knows where your dancer's story will lead!
