For 26 years, Storybook Ballet has been building and refining our curriculum through experience, testing, and a deep understanding of how children learn ballet. Every lesson is designed to help dancers grow, one step, one skill, and one level at a time — because great dancers are developed over time.

Plies, Pastries, & Prep! Our 2026 Storybook Ballet staff came together for our annual Fall Team Meeting to connect, enjoy some time together, and go over everything we need to know before welcoming our dancers back to the studio.
We’re so grateful for this wonderful team of teachers and all the care they put into making each class special. We’re ready to welcome our dancers back for another season of dancing this Monday!

And then there were three! When we opened Storybook Ballet 26 years ago, the annual studio maintenance event quickly became a family tradition. As soon as our four boys were big enough to handle a hammer and scrub with a sponge, they joined Jeff and me in making the studio sparkle.
Every year right before our Fall Session, the Mast Maintenance Crew heads to the studio to retape floors, scrub, and prep the dance studio for our students. Over the years, the boys have always looked forward to (well...not reeeaallly) this event. But this year, our original crew of six is down to three- and sadly, that number might even be smaller next year as two will graduate and move on.
While we miss having the whole team together, we’re so grateful for a quarter-century of memories, and Jeff and I will happily keep the tradition alive.
(Who knows... maybe they’ll actually miss being a part of the Crew!)
