That’s right! Fat Bear Week 2026 is almost here!

The bears have eaten. The bears have grown. And the bears have absolutely no idea they’re about to be judged by millions of strangers.

The ultimate heavyweight event runs…well, wobbles along, at Katmai National Park & Preserve from September 22–29. Who will go the distance? The bracket launches on September 18.
