Well, let me tell you all about our trip to Fort Frederick in Maryland.

First two days of the trip were uneventful until we got to the exit for Ft Frederick when our rear drivers side tire on the truck blew like a mortar going off.
We limped it into the gas station there and while Allen was assessing the damage a very nice guy came by and offered to help.
He got the spare from below the truck and got our tire changed.
Then we got the rig to the Fort.
Got an appointment made for new tires in Hagerstown for the following Monday.
We had a good 4 Day event.

Then Sunday Morning while we're getting the truck and trailer ready to bring in to pack that everything and the side door of the trailer fell down and we couldn't get the door shut. (The trailer is 3 years old)
So we used a hammer and a screw diver, beat the snot out of the door to get it to shut .

Got everything packed up and loaded but still having door problems on the trailer.

Monday we dropped the Trailer and took the truck in to get the tires.Stopped at TSC and picked up a 4 inch wide roll of Gorilla Tape for the trailer door.

Got back to the Fort, taped the door up and hooked up the Trailer. So we are back on the road.

Went about 300 miles and stopped for the night.

Got back on the road Tuesday got 100 miles down the road and the truck started weaving. Pulled off on the shoulder and one of the New tires had lost all but 1 lug nut! So now we are undrivable waiting for help along I-70 West.

I am not a happy Camper 😡

Just got home from Boone Hospital after getting a new pacemaker. Feeling OK.

Been working all summer to get ahead on the Tin Ware knowing I would be down about a week and I didn't want the orders on the website to get behind!

Well day 1 after Surgery I went out to the shop and did some soldering. Everything was already formed and ready to solder, so no heavy lifting!
I finished a Witch Cookie Cutter and 2 Oval Tea Pots.
Back on the mend!

I have started painting some of my Tin Pieces and this little Apple Bowl sold at Fort Frederick in Maryland this past weekend!

The Gentleman was thrilled to obtain it for his prosona to use on his table under his tent fly.

Another Featured Product from Colleens Tin Shop. A Tin Peg Lamp!

I tried to picture it burning in all the lanterns we have for sale so you can see it fits in many different holders.

Used in the late 1700's to burn whale oil. We recommend lamp oil (clear lamp oil is best) and burns about 25 hours. stands about 5 1/4 inches tall, 3 1/2 in in diameter with a 3/4" peg.

Well we left for our Show we help sponsor, The Living History Trade Fair in Fremont, Ohio and while we were gone a fire started in the fields and woods behind our house
Our Son Jacob, his wife Victoria and the fire department spent a few days putting it out and all the little pop up fires.
The house and shops are OK. The wind was blowing away from them .
The start of the fire is not known .

Looking forward to the Living History show at the Sandusky County Fair Grounds in Fremont, Ohio this weekend. Looking forward in seeing old friends and making new friends. Great weather, great butch of traders and craft people will be there. Hope to see you there this weekend at the Living History Trade Show.
