It was actually one of the worst opening weekend for ducks I've ever had.
It was super hot and clear sunny skies, there was 1 good hour of action then completely dead.

Well after living in the woods from October 24th- November 17th it finally all came together for me, seen a lot of deer this bowseason. Seen some good bucks and learned a lot throughout this season. Definitely need to thank my wife for letting me disappear every year around this time, and to my parents for always coming to help track and drag my deer

Mid season scouting turned into a mid season buck. Didn’t have too much history with this guy as it was the first year hunting the private land I was blessed enough to get permission on. Big 9 point down!
