We had a great time at Ranchside today with the Heavy Hauler!! Thank you to everyone who came out to pull with us today and to the people who helped, it was definitely a fun day!! We ended up with 9 ribbons and 2 trophies and a broken tractor (lol)!!! Here are a few pics from today special thank.you to Michael Foley for bringing your sled today so we could pull and to Rene Poirier for allowing us to use the facility and for having your committee provide food for purchase!!!

Get your tractors ready because next Saturday August 22nd we are pulling at Ranchside Park Campground. Registration starts at 10 and the classes are as follows: jr youth, youth, adult stock single, adult stock twin, altered stock, sport stock, and misfit. Get those tractors ready we are less than 2 weeks away. Jr stock and youth stock will be competing for some nice trophies. Ribbons for the rest of the classes. Food will be available for purchase. Registration starts at 930 pulling starts at 11am. There will be a few little surprises that day also. So get ready to have a great time. Address for this pull is 5621 us 11 ellenburg ny. No hook fees this day. We will be using the heavy haulers sled and rules

Just a recap of our pull at Washington County Pull for Kids on Saturday:
The track was super bitey and after watching the tractors before us fall on their face in high/tall gear we realized we had to go down a gear. Ben pulled in 2nd gear during the light class and couldn’t get any bite so he pulled 135 feet with Broke Instigator and 140 feet with Making Change. In the heavy class he dropped down to 1st gear and pulled 150 feet with Making Change and 140 feet with Broke Instigator ( the footage is not completely accurate due to the results not being posted yet but they were somewhere around the footage listed).
Jen was going to try 3rd gear but again watching everyone else in high gear fall on their face she had decided to run 2nd but asked Ben if that was a good idea and he agreed. In the light class she pulled 169 feet and some change which gave her a 3rd place finish and pulled 165 feet and some change in the heavy class which gave her a 4th or 5th place finish ( again pulling results have not been posted yet). Considering the competition Jen was ecstatic to have placed 3rd at an event of that caliber.

Just a recap of our pull Saturday at Hills of Hebron:
Ben ended up with a 3rd place in sport stock with the ford being the tractor of choice, a 2nd place in the Open Class with the ford, and a 2nd place in the open class with Making Change
Kyleigh ended up with 2 1st place in the Jr class with her tractor Loose Change Turtle Express
Jen ended up with a 1st place in the open class with Goin Broke, a 1st place in the open class (different weight class) with Pocket Change, a 2nd place in the sport stock class with Goin Broke, and a 2nd place in the open class with Pocket Change
Last week was Ben’s week and this week Jen’s tractors were dialed on even though she ran out of fuel once and her tire pressure on both tractors were uneven.. she beat the odds lol
July 11th we are at Washington County Pull for kids and July 18th we are at Argyle Ny’s Pull for a Cure (these are the next two dates as of now)

We will be pulling all 5 tractors this week July 5th at hills of Hebron in north Hebron ny with a start time of 10 am then we will be at Washington county pull for kids July 11th Greenwich ny. We will be in argile ny for Pull for a Cure on July 18th. Many more pulls to come. So who is ready to travel and have some fun.

Just a recap of yesterday's pull Ben finished 2nd in the first round and the second round the track had changed drastically so he got a 3rd place finish and his tractor of choice was Making Change. Jen got a 5th place finish the first round and the second round a 5th place finish. Kyleigh couldn't pull because she isn't able to pull VTPA until next year. Congrats to Tyler Jarvis for a 1st place finish the second round and Emily Jarvis for 2 1st places in the enhanced sport class.
