Horse boarding and homestead in the mountains of Magalia ca. 530-321-1014 Jaynes High Country Ranch is named after our oldest Mare High Country Sierra.

She is the horse that started it all. Our mission is to provide boarding, lessons, and training using Natural horsemanship methods promoting a pleasant learning experience. We provide lessons in Western and English riding and have competed in both disciplines. We have also completed, with certification, up to level 3 in the Parelli program. We have competed in Hunter/Jumper, English equitation, ranch hands, trail trials, gymkhana, and performed in a drill team.. We have 20 acres of beautiful trails, boarding with spacious stalls and paddocks, large sanded arena, and looking forward to providing a round pen, and cross country course. We are located on beautiful Nimshew Road in Magalia, with miles of trails connecting to our property.

Roaring into fall! Our honey bees have left for warmer places, and we had a great time extracting some honey. Enjoying all of the colors of fall and an all around great week on the ranch.

It’s been a lively and lovely 2 weeks! The ranch is chuck full of beautiful horses, beautiful faces, beautiful people and a few oddball animals as we come barreling into fall! We are blessed by such beauty❤️

Great week at the ranch! Soaps made! Even convinced our farrier that our soap is the best. He bought 2!! Had a new horse join the family, welcome Breezy, and enjoyed some peaceful ranch life moments and some much cooler weather❤️horses winter coats are already starting to show up. Hello everyone! We are happy to welcome Tatum Higginbotham as not only one of our newest boarder, but also a training resource here on the ranch. Any boarders or non boarders who may be interested in a 30/60/90 day training let us know. We have one spot open. She has extensive horse experience and background in training. Shes a former intern at the American wild horse conservation and has studied Bsc in equine science at the university of Montana western! We are happy to have her and her beautiful horse Venture.
