Our Red & Black Scrimmage was a HUGE success! 🏐🔥 Both our Junior High and Senior High Lady Rattlers hit the court tonight, and we couldn’t be more proud of the energy, effort, and excitement they brought!

A HUGE THANK YOU to everyone in our community who came out to support our girls! Your cheers, encouragement, and support mean more to our athletes than you know. ❤️🖤

Tonight was about more than volleyball—it was about community, school spirit, and coming together to support our Lady Rattlers! We are so thankful for everyone who showed up and helped make tonight special.

The volleyball team is officially back in action! 🏐💪

After some time away, the team jumped right back into practice mode with a strong start — putting in the work by running the mile, getting in a great workout, and hitting the court to sharpen their skills for the upcoming season.

To finish off the day, the team cooled down with some creativity by making signs to decorate the arena and bring even more energy to our home games. We can’t wait to see the hard work, teamwork, and excitement they bring this season!

A huge shoutout to these two for setting the standard at our Branson Volleyball Team Camp! 🏐❤️

Lifa Cer #3 April Canada #12

For three straight days, they doubled up—competing with both the JV and Varsity teams, going from one court to the next without ever slowing down. Every time we asked, "Do you need a break?" their answer was always the same:

"No, I'm ready to play."

And here's the best part—they're only sophomores.

Despite being underclassmen, they never backed down from the challenge. They chose hard work over comfort, embraced every opportunity to compete, stayed coachable, encouraged their teammates, brought positive energy, and never shied away from doing the extra work.

Being a great player is about more than talent—it's about attitude, effort, and putting the team first. These two showed exactly what that looks like all week long.

Your dedication didn't go unnoticed, and you earned every bit of this recognition. We can't wait to see what the next two years hold for both of you. The future of Rattler Volleyball is in great hands!

Right Side: Kelsey Moffett #23🏐

"I've been playing volleyball since my freshman year, and now I'm a senior. It has all flown by so fast, and I'm so grateful for these last few years I've gotten to play this amazing sport.
My favorite memory has to be seeing all the improvements we've made on the court and watching how we come together as a group to make great things happen.
This season, I'm looking forward to seeing how far we can go as a team and everything we accomplish together as a family.
The hardest part of this sport has been the mental side of the game. I've always been hard on myself over the smallest mistakes, and that's something I've had to learn to work through. I've realized it's not about being perfect because everyone makes mistakes—it's about how you respond to them. I haven't always had the best attitude, but having a team that's uplifting and positive has shown me that one mistake doesn't define you.
I'm so thankful for the friendships I've built and the knowledge I've gained throughout these last few years. Here's to one last ride. ❤️🏐

Middle: Madison Halter #2 🏐

"I've been playing volleyball for a little over a year now, and this season will be my second year. I honestly wish I would have started playing much sooner because this sport has taught me so much and become such a big part of my life.

My favorite volleyball memories are simply being on the court with some of my favorite people. The friendships I've made through this sport have become so much more than just teammates—they've become family.

This season, I'm looking forward to continuing to grow, not only as players but also as a team and as a family. I can't wait to make more memories together and see how much we can accomplish.

The hardest thing I've gone through so far is the mental side of sports and the pressure you can put on yourself. Learning to stay confident, push through mistakes, and keep improving has been one of the biggest challenges, but it's also helped me grow both as a player and as a person.

I'm so thankful for everything volleyball has given me, and I'm excited to make the most of my final season with this amazing team." ❤️🏐

Setter: Zoey Thurman #4 🏐

"I've played volleyball since my freshman year, and now as a senior, it's hard to believe how quickly the time has gone. My favorite memory has to be making it to regionals my sophomore year because it showed me what our team could accomplish when everyone believed in each other and worked toward the same goal.

This season, I'm looking forward to continuing to grow—not only as a player by pushing myself to improve every day, but also as a teammate who encourages those around me. I hope we continue building a culture of trust, hard work, and resilience together.

The biggest challenge I've faced throughout athletics has been the mental side of sports. Learning to overcome self-doubt, pressure, and the fear of not being enough has been one of the hardest battles I've ever fought. There were moments when my own thoughts were my toughest opponent, but those struggles taught me that strength isn't just about what you can do physically. It's about choosing to keep showing up, believing in yourself, and giving your best even when it's hard. That journey has shaped me into not only a stronger athlete but also a stronger person.

This final season means more to me than just the games we win. It's one last chance to make memories with people who've become family and to leave the court knowing I gave it everything I had.
