We just finished our 12u season and already planning for our 14u debut!! This will be our last week of tryouts for any pitchers looking for a new home. We are looking to add 1-2 more pitchers to help us compete in highly competitive tournaments! We accomplished so much this season and look forward to what a couple extra arms in the rotation can do!
How about a triple play to get out of a bases loaded situation! ‘Crazy sequence of events’ as our commentator stated following the play! Emma made a sweet one hop stop and runners thought ball was caught so all tried to get back to bases. As Emma turns to 1st she lands on bag to get runner out, tags the runner coming back to 1st, throws ball to Kariden who tags the girl running between 2nd and 3rd and then tosses to Allie who chases another girl down. We don’t really know who was out where because they only signaled the last out but regardless we did the thing! Our last triple play was 1st year 10u so 3 years ago!

Next brag post!!!! Do you know what’s better than 1 homerun??? Back to back HOMERUNS!! Yes, they did that! I told the girls after our 1st game I love how they are challenging each other to be their best. If one got on the other matched it, from the top of the line up to the bottom, they pushed each other all week! This was the difference maker in this particular game against the Dragons of South Lake! Rylee hits a 2 run bomb and Presley says I can do that too hitting her a solo shot! This was so exciting and the fire that they needed to help them have a strong 3rd place finish!

Lots of accomplishments this week at our national tourney! Congratulations to our 3 MVP’s
Game 1 - Rylee (opposing coach’s reasoning - girls bat was on fire) my thoughts… this was all weekend, she swung the bat with a purpose all weekend! .667 for the week with a 1.167 SLG (9 singles, 3 doubles, 3 triples and a HOMERUN!!
Game 2 - Caslyn (opposing coaches reasoning - pitched lights outs and hit the ball well offensively) my thoughts…. again, another kiddo that kept it going all week in the circle and at the plate! Pitching a total of 264 pitches facing 74 batters only giving up 17 hits and earning 15 k’s. With her team behind her she kept the opponents to a .262 batting avg. Offensively she ended the week with a .545 avg, .818 SLG (8 singles, 2 doubles, 2 triples)
Game 3 - Presley (opposing coaches reasoning - set the tempo behind the plate and the pick off at 3rd that sealed their fate) my thoughts…. This girl has swagger that’s untouched. She sets the tone wherever she is on the field and at the plate. She has a .400 avg, .650 SLG (5 singles, 2 doubles and a HOMERUN) She also had an amazing 14 RBI’s
These girls are deserving of their recognition, but man I wish there were more MVP’s to give out. Truly a team effort with all the amazing plays and at bats this week!

We finished our 12u season this weekend and these girls went out with a bang! We went 7-2 on the weekend dropping the only 2 games to the champions of the tourney! We showed up and showed out with a season high team batting average of .423, Collecting over 70 hits and scoring over 70 runs. It was an all around team effort and I couldn’t be more proud of this group of girls!

Aren’t they just so cute! Decided to go with a patriotic theme to celebrate the big 250 at Nationals! They are fired up and ready to play some softball to finish off our 12u season! Send them luck as they start the quest at 9am tomorrow!

Swag bag for the girls and a little family kick ball after our last 12u practice! It’s hard to believe, but these girls are aging up! Keep working hard girls and let’s finish strong!
