It’s only the middle of October, and my lessons, show prep, and show schedule is filling up well into December. I’m so thankful for every client and every family who trusts me to be a part of their horsemanship journey.

One of the greatest rewards of what I do is watching riders grow—not just in their riding skills, but in their confidence, patience, and partnership with their horses. Those little moments of progress add up to something pretty special, and I’m blessed to be a part of it!

Horse Training: I will have ONE training spot available at the beginning of November! Whether your horse needs a tune-up, help building a solid foundation, confidence in their work, or continued development, I believe in an individualized approach that meets each horse where they are and helps them progress.

Thank you for supporting Wall Equestrian, LLC and allowing me to do what I love. Every horse, every rider, and every small victory matters, and I never take the opportunity to be part of those journeys for granted!

Message me to discuss lessons, show support availability, or the upcoming training opening!

Congratulations to Linda Kirk and her horse, Gunner Whiz Again, for having a great show at the GHQHA show. They had some great scores and built each other’s confidence. Can’t wait to see what the future has for this partnership.

One of my long term youth students wrote this for a class assignment and sent it to me. With her permission, I wanted to share it with you. I hope you hug your horse today. We are so blessed to live this life.

Looking down the barn aisle at SWF, you will often see kids figuring it out on their own when they can’t do something.

It’s our job to make sure they’re in in a safe environment with appropriate ponies. After that, they can take a few trips to be able to carry all their tack out, they can take ten minutes to figure out how to put the bridle on their way when a pony is moving their head around, they can figure out how to catch the pony who would rather be napping, they can practice their clipping on ponies not showing for a little while, and they can figure out their own style, how their bodies work in concert with a pony, and how to troubleshoot what comes up in any given moment between themselves and their lesson. This all takes time to learn, a space and environment where the long road is the short road, and the expectation that kids, even little kids, are very competent at appropriate tasks for their age. Your 9 year old can tack up all by themselves. We promise.
