If you haven’t seen or heard we are getting some very cold weather with chance of precipitation.
How do I take care of my horses in times like these…
They get a cozy blanket, plenty of hay and I don’t over grain. I feed Wendland's Farm Products Wendlands One and only.
I add some salt to their food and let them stay out! Getting proper exercise keeps them warm and as my vet says “their tummies are like a furnace and they will be warm when they have plenty of hay.
So stock up if you haven’t already ! Good luck everyone and we will be back to 90 before you know it!
