The Mission: World Afro Day goes far beyond a trend; it acts as a global liberation day to challenge systemic hair bias, inequality, and discrimination in schools and workplaces. It works alongside legislative efforts and educational unions to enforce hair inclusivity.

National Afro Day, widely celebrated and officially known as World Afro Day, takes place every year on September 15th. The global event recognizes, honors, and normalizes the beauty, culture, and identity of Afro-textured hair. Today (September 15, 2026) marks a massive milestone as the movement celebrates its 10th anniversary.
