Was entirely humbled on our anniversary hike this weekend. I can’t tell if this was truly truly one of the more difficult hikes we’ve done, or if it was a product of the migraine that hit as we began our decent, but wow did I feel every step of that 2643 foot gain (that’s two Empire State buildings!)!

Clearing my head before the first day of the school year tomorrow. This year especially, I am committing to focus on the things within my control while remaining as flexible, balanced, and humble as possible throughout what’s bound to be a wild next couple of months. Grateful to work with an amazing team of educators who will do whatever it takes to make it work for our kiddos.
