New Jersey Pickleball Academy

Starting October 14th, we start our indoor season at Fair Lawn Racquet Club. Here’s our schedule. Most events are $20 for our members. Also, keep us in mind for court rentals on Saturday nights.

What a perfect day for celebrating a visit from George Cheah’s beautiful family! All six courts were full of happy pickleballers. Was it the mimosas and White Claws that contributed to all those smiling faces? I don’t think so…it was the joy of celebrating (1) family (2) friends (3) and just getting together to play our beloved pickleball on the newly resurfaced courts at Brookside Racquet & Swim Club in Allendale, NJ.

A great way to celebrate the closing of New Jersey Pickleball Academy’s first league session of the summer. Very excited to kickoff our second season this week!!!

We all had fun at Mason Jar Mahwah —huge thank you to Ira and the rest of the staff for making our event a success! Big huge kudos to our league winners Sharon Basil, Jamie Treby and Liza Frangiosa.

New Jersey Pickleball Academy’s first day of our 6-week beginner pickleball program. We had over 14 new players excited to learn from the Pickleball Uber, George.

The ladies in red were on fire playing pickleball at Hackensack Recreation Department…they are terrific ambassadors of the sport and we hope they are equally successful in bringing pickleball outdoors to Johnson Park, Hackensack! https://hackensack.recdesk.com/Community/Home

George Cheah has enjoyed 8 yrs of pickleball with over 2000 members past and present at NJPA.  Grateful for the opportunity to meet and engage with the sport of pickleball he planned to embark on a 5 yrs mission when starting in Sept of 2015.  It turned into an 8 yr journey!!!  Pickleball has taken over!  George was then ready to find the right team and make a smooth transition to the next phase for NJPA.  Fortunately last Summer, George met Victoria Rodriguez.  Her passion for the sport with her business experience is what will bring NJPA 1.0 to the next level. The explosive growth of the sport demands a dynamic team to bring NJPA 2.0 to the next 5 yr journey. George and Victoria will soon unveil all the exciting commitments by both the local and business communities in developing and building NJPA 2.0 in the next 2 months.
