Congratulations to our coaches on their win today in the relay! They came in first place in the 100 🥇

Go Sharks! Errr, Stingrays…our 13&O’s started the meet with 50pts toward the Spirit Award with the “Five Seasons Memorial” Theme complete with a kickboard gravestone and everyone wore a green sharks cap. Way to take the lead! 🦈

This morning, Ron Potter, former US marine and underwater combat specialist walked our 13ups through some of the initial exercises it takes to be accepted into the Underwater Combat Training School. It was a great experience for our swimmers and a tremendous workout, thank you Ron Potter!

Psych Party 2025 was so fun! Thanks to our amazing parents still going strong with their commitment to meet work and helping put on some pretty great parties for your kids!! They voted, signed posters, played games with coaches, tie dyed and celebrated the last few days before CHAMPS!! 😎

Here’s what we learned-the consensus is that stingrays would rather…
-Be able to breathe underwater than grow flippers for feet.
-They value their goggles more than their caps.
-They would rather race Katie Ledecky and leave Michael Phelps alone.
-They have no problem with belly flopping as long as their relay is not DQd.
-They have no appetite for cicadas and would rather swim a 1fly or 2fly.
-Jello seems better to swim in than pudding.
-They would rather get a PR than win their race!
-And there is no clear winner to the question of whether they would rather smell like chlorine the rest of their lives or have goggle imprint around their eyes forever 🤭

Home Meet #3 was one for the record books!! We had 176 Landen Swimmers at the meet (the most we know of!), your support for our concession stand was amazing and that’s the first time in years where it’s rained all day and then the sun came out for the meet. On a Tuesday 🗓️
