Today was a good day! Assisted Alexa with EDP U13G game then Centered U8G game..Ava Ernst's team! Ava reminds me of a young nbr 11 Mads! athletic,great stamina and aggressive!! She delivered for the occasion with a goal!⚽️ Nice meeting you Ava!

It was great seeing everyone last week!

Coach Gary and I decided that we will not wait years to get together. We will announce here informal get togethers at local bars around Christmas and Thanksgivings when most of you are home. So hope to see you at the next one.

United FC news: Congratulations to #3 Alexa Barriero for starting her new job as Consulting Analyst for Accenture in NYC. Alexa graduated from Carnegie Mellon University with a major in Chemical Engineering and a minor in Business Administration. The striker was one of our fearsome 3 strikers which included #4 and #11 that tallied over 38 goals⚽️⚽️⚽️ during our undefeated season U11!

At a young age, her athleticism was evident! She continued her athletic career in college as a varsity track star throwing javelin and finished her career 2nd all time in school history for javelin with 2 third place finishes and 1 second place finish in the UAA conference championship meets and also was a 3 time scholar athlete award recipient in the conference. Btw...on the side she also played on the club soccer⚽️ team all 4 years and was the team captain and treasurer. Way to go Alexa!🎊🎓🎊🏅

Our first ever trophy! This picture from 2007 is the equivalent of happiness as compared to Jamaica's goal yesterday in the WC. BTW, we were second place. You can't tell from this picture⚽️.

United FC news: Meg McGurl will be attending Univ of Florida Law School this fall. Meg completed her BA in Govt, Law, Intl affairs and Spanish degree with distinction (Magna Cum Laude) at Lafayette College this spring. The former Peninsula Rising Eagles Midfielder/Forward continued her soccer career at the NCAA Div. 1 level at Lafayette College. She was one of our key guest players for United who wore our famous nbr 20 red uniform whenever she was available! Congratulations on your continued success Meg!🎊🏅🎊

United FC reunion update: Please read the entire message.

Hello United. We are looking forward to seeing as many of you on July 13th @ the 26 West Restaurant in Red Bank. Coach Gary, myself and Tara Froehlich Ernst will be there! We also invited the leadership at Middletown Soccer Club and requested coverage on their Facebook and Instagram.

The registration deadline is July 5th , because we need to give the final count and names to the restaurant. To register, please send me an email with the full names of everyone in your party plus $32 per person (Zelle, or Venmo preferred). Please do not register on evite. I will be sending the list of paid attendees to the restaurant; they will not allow anyone past the receptionist to our private room who is not on the list.

United FC news: Congratulations to #10 on her promotion to Product Manager,Accessories at Conn-Selmer after 6 months on the job! Conn-Selmer is part of the Steinway music portfolio companies. Emma graduated from UMass Amherst with BA in music performance (Saxophone) and communications. The playmaker always knew how to create the right passes to her 3 strikers and was United's all-time assist leader in all competitions. Recently, she joined an indoor womens league playing with former Notre Dame Univ soccer players in South Bend where she currently lives! Way to go Emma! 🎊🏅🎊

United FC news: Meg Cavrak,will be attending West Virginia Univ School of Medicine after she graduates this spring with a BS in Biomedical Engineering degree from Clemson. Meg was one of our more famous tournament team players and a coaches dream! She always had a smile and was happy to play any position. The former Colts Neck Crush player, always showed a high work-rate as a midfielder/forward and part time center back! Congratulations Meg! Wow is that a brain in your hand!?!🎊🏅🎊
