Senior Stars Vicky Hall, left, and Jorja Gregory flicked it up — as the kids say — after Osbourn Park and Woodbridge met on Tuesday for a scrimmage just before the high-school season gets underway.

Here’s Jorja Gregory at her signing-day ceremony at Woodbridge High School, flanked by Coach Mark and Coach Keith, family, friends and her Vikings teammates. Jorja, a Stars pitcher/outfielder, heads to Virginia Union in the Fall.

Repost from .v.barton for anyone who might have missed the news over the weekend. We’re super proud of you and convinced you’re going to do big things.

Our fourth senior shoutout is Adriana Barton, who joined us this Fall and injected energy, a big middle-of-the-lineup bat, and a preposterously good catch radius at first base. Whether it was a clutch hit, grab or a pick-me-up in the dugout, she always had our backs. And we know she has more softball success in her future.

Our third Senior Shoutout, Victoria Hall, has played 63 games for the Stars over the past three seasons, emerging as the team’s most effective bunter, while also contributing singles, doubles, stolen bases and scoring 37 runs over that span. But generally, as you can see in these pictures, she can be found tracking a ball in the outfield, or with a smile on her face, playing the game with exuberance. Vicky never loses sight of the reason we play softball in the first place: to have fun.
