Hello AVC families and the Chesapeake Region volleyball community,

After an incredible journey since 2011, American Volleyball Club will officially close at the end of this season.

What started as a small family dream grew into a community filled with amazing athletes, families, coaches, and memories we will always cherish. Thank you for your trust, support, and dedication throughout the years.

We are very excited to announce that through strategic partnership, 540 Volleyball Club will assume volleyball operations in Manassas beginning July 1. After extensive conversations with their leadership team, we are confident they are the right organization to continue serving athletes and families in Northern Virginia with professionalism, strong leadership, and a commitment to player development.

AVC will remain open through June 30, and all July Beach Program registrations will continue as planned with Coach Javy and staff.

Thank you for being part of the AVC family. This community has meant more than words can express.

Welcome to AVC Summer Beach Registration! We are excited to bring sand volleyball to American Volleyball Club. We believe that the athletes who primarily play indoor quickly improve their indoor game when they also play sand volleyball. We are aiming to deliver an outdoor season that does not force the athletes to choose between outdoor or indoor volleyball.

No partner required.

Freedom Center – Beach Program

Running from April 6 through June 24th

Practices on Mondays and Wednesdays at Freedom Center:

• 5:00–6:30 pm – U12–U14 Girls
• 6:30–8:00 pm – U15–U18 Girls

Session 1: April 6th-April 30th

8 sessions $260

Session 2: May 4th-May 27th

7 sessions $227.50

Session 3: June 1st-June 24th

8 sessions $260

We have a drop-in option if you can’t commit to a whole session. These are sold al-a-carte. Drop-in fee is $35

This structure allows younger athletes to focus on building strong fundamentals while giving the older group more advanced training and competitive preparation.

Athletes will be grouped first by ability and then by age group. Possible age groupings are U14 and U18

Athletes will be evaluated for placement based on age and ability

Age Level: Grades 6-12 (High school graduation class of 2024-2030). Elementary school athletes will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

If your athlete does not have a CHRVA full year membership like you would purchase if you are playing indoor club, then you will need to purchase a summer membership, please click here. This is USAV insurance that covers the club and the athlete. If your athlete will be competing in an AVP beach tournament they will also need an AVP membership.

Morning Sessions with Dejan are 1.5 hours

13U/14U 11-12:30 pm

Tuesday: Serve/Serve/Receive
Wednesday: Setting/Attacking
Thursday: Defense/Digging

3 days: 1.5 hours sessions = $180

Afternoon Sessions with Coach Vince are 1 hour

Monday-Wednesday: March 30-April 1st

15U-18U

1pm-2pm DS/Libero
2pm-3pm Setters/Attackers

There is no daily break down for the older group allowing for more flexibility in the training, catering to the needs of the group.

3 days: 1 hour sessions = $90
