I am fairly new to the Delaplane area. I am attending George Mason University for my BA in Kinesiology. I have been a trainer since 2007 when I was active duty in the US Army. Excited to start training here in VA and help as many as I can achieve their fitness goals.

Today I learned : how to do an animal flow πŸ†

Some of us are starving to death for love + attention. The emptiness can be intolerably painful. The relief those seek by means of anger , money, s*x, drugs, alcohol, and so on are only temporary. When we purse praise , power, pleasure and safety from outside of ourself, we only bring hurt to ourself instead of learning self love + self acceptance. Seek real love and not temporary fixes .

2022 updates πŸ“’ :

➑️First, I am STOKED to announce I am going back to George Mason University this month working on my Master's in Kinesiology. I applied end of last summer, was immediately accepted and start this month . Grateful for this opportunity to be the best trainer, coach and exercise guru in the DMV area .

➑️ Second, since I will be attending the Manassas GMU campus, I am adding Manassas location to my schedule for training.

Current shape ending 2021 .
Current weight is 181.0. I lost a few lbs with covid (about 6-7lbs). My normal weight is 185-188lbs last 2 months.

Want to know My biggest secret to staying in shape?
I walk, a lot. Walk walk walk. I go on walks by myself , with my dogs , with my boyfriend . I park in back of parking lots to walk to stores . I take extra steps in stores. I walk up and down my stairs at home.

Go walk- it's the most efficient , effective , convenient, inexpensive form of fitness. We are DESIGNED , by anatomy , to WALK.

Get your steps in. It's that simple.

Yes, my horse is bigger than my truck.

Covid is hitting hard. Here is Some really super duper helpful info I got from yesterday:

Here's my "Tips from someone whose had covid 4 times!!!!"
1. Hydrate. Hydrate. HYYYDRATEEEE. I had zero appetite and if it weren't for pedialyte and bone broth I woulda been worse.
2. SLEEEEEEPPPP!!!! This thing depletes everything in your system.
3. DONT PUSH YOURSELF TOO HARD TO MOVE. I know that's gonna be hard but your poor body needs to rest.
4. If you're noticing wheezing ..go to the hospital. Ran many calls where people would be just sitting on the couch gasping for air. Its time for oxygen from a hospital.
5. Take a steamy hot shower atleast once a day.
6. Obviously take straight zinc supplement.
7. Lysol as you go. I found it was a bit easier to lysol once I touched something rather than we it all for one major day of cleaning.
8. If you don't have a humidifier, amazon buy one now !! Saved me throughout the night.
