🐸💦 FROGS, IT’S TIME TO DIVE BACK IN! 💦🐸

Registration is officially OPEN for the Dale City Frogs Winter Training Program!

Whether your swimmer is returning or ready to join the Frogs for the first time, winter training is the perfect opportunity to build confidence, sharpen technique, and prepare for an amazing 2027 summer swim season.

Our coaches will work with swimmers on:

🏊 Proper breathing and kicking
🔄 Flip turns
🐸 Breaststroke technique
🦋 Butterfly technique
🤝 Sportsmanship, teamwork, and supporting one another

Training is open to swimmers ages 5–18, with three sessions available.

📅 Sundays from 4:00–5:00 p.m.
📍 PWCS Aquatics Center at Colgan
💰 Register for all three sessions by October 11 and receive the discounted price of $315!

Returning families can log in to their SwimTopia account, while new families can quickly create one to register.

🐸💚 Celebrating the Frog Family! 💚🐸

Last night, the Dale City Frogs came together at Waterworks Water Park for our end-of-season Awards Ceremony—and what an incredible turnout!

Over pizza, subs, snacks, plenty of laughs, and a whole lot of Frog pride, we celebrated the accomplishments of every single athlete who made this season one to remember. From personal bests and first swims to big milestones and unforgettable moments, every Frog had something worth celebrating. 🏊‍♀️🏊‍♂️

But this team has always been about more than what happens in the pool.

We also had the opportunity to recognize our incredible Board and the countless volunteers who give their time, energy, and hearts to keep the Frog Family running smoothly. Meets, practices, events, concessions, setup, cleanup—and everything behind the scenes—simply wouldn’t happen without you. Thank you.

It was an evening filled with family, recognition, and celebration as we said goodbye to some incredible athletes moving on to their next chapters while welcoming the newest members of our Frog Family. 💚

To everyone who joined us last night, and to every parent, swimmer, coach, volunteer, supporter, and Frog Family member near and far who cheered us on throughout the season—thank you for making this community what it is.

The trophies and ribbons are pretty great, but the friendships, memories, and family we’ve built along the way are what we’ll carry with us.

What a season. What a team. What a family.

Divisionals in a WRAP!

Hopefully everyone got some well-earned rest after an incredible day at Divisionals this weekend. For the last time this summer, we’ve got some Frog stats to share—and there’s a whole lot to be proud of.

🏊

The Frogs went head-to-head with the Lake Manassas Blue Dolphins and Stonewall Park Seawolves in an awesome back-and-forth battle all day long. When the final points were counted:

🥇 Lake Manassas Blue Dolphins — 3,757
🥈 Dale City Frogs — 3,624
🥉 Stonewall Park Seawolves — 3,334

SECOND PLACE AT DIVISIONALS! 🐸💚

And our swimmers SHOWED UP.

We brought 103 swimmers out of our 143 registered summer swimmers, totaling 335 entries and 323 splashes. That gave the Frogs an incredible 96% engagement rate and only a 4% no-show/scratch rate.

That’s commitment. That’s showing up for your teammates. That’s how you finish a season.

And we weren’t finished improving, either!

⏱️ 185 swims showed improvement at Divisionals—55% of our swims!

Even at the very last meet of the season, our Frogs were still dropping time, pushing themselves and getting better.

🏆 Divisionals High Point Leaders

Our top female high-point scorers were Ashley George, Bella Karrasch, Justis Fanion, Scarlett Corrigan and Anai Mensah.

Our top male point scorers included Jasper Corrigan, Evan Ward, London Wellington, Mohammed Samren, Ayden Green and Jacoby Fanion.

🐸💚 IT’S DIVISIONALS WEEKEND, FROGS! 💚🐸

All summer long, these swimmers have shown up and put in the work. They’ve pushed through early mornings, tough practices, hot days, tired muscles, and countless laps. Along the way, they’ve gotten faster, stronger, and more confident—but most importantly, they’ve had a whole lot of fun doing it together.

Now it all comes together at DIVISIONALS! 💦

This weekend isn’t just about times, places, or what’s on the scoreboard. It’s about getting in that water and doing what the Dale City Frogs do best:

Have fun. Give it everything you’ve got. Cheer LOUD for your teammates. And do your absolute best.

Be proud of the work you put in this summer. Trust your training. Race with heart. And when you climb out of that pool, know you gave it everything you had.

We are already incredibly proud of every single one of you.

Now go make a splash, Frogs! 🐸💚

There are coaches who teach the sport… and then there are coaches who make the season FUN. 💚

A HUGE thank you to Coach Joey and Coach Nick for being such great sports and letting our Frogs absolutely COVER them in pie! 😂🥧

The smiles, the laughter, the excitement—and maybe just a little too much whipped cream—made this one of those nights the kids will remember long after the season is over.

Swimming is about so much more than times on a board. It’s about teammates, coaches, friendships, traditions, and making memories together.

Thank you, Coach Joey and Coach Nick, for always showing up for our Frogs—and for sacrificing your faces for the cause. 😂🐸💚

🐸 What a way to close out our home schedule.🐸

The Dale City Frogs came away with a victory over Ben Lomond today, but more importantly, we watched our swimmers continue to grow, chase personal bests, and cheer each other on from the first event to the last.

Congratulations to every Frog who stepped on the blocks today. Your hard work all season continues to show.

We’d also like to thank Ben Lomond for a great meet and wish them the best as the season continues.

Here’s to carrying this momentum in to next weekend!
