On Friday, the Manchester Memorial High School Student Athlete Leadership Team (SALT) dropped off 337 toys the group collected for Toys For Tots. Students Rachel Barry, Autumn Pelletier, and Paige Thibault are pictured with SALT adviser David Gocklin. Thank you to the students for organizing and to everyone who donated.

🎄CALLING ALL TOYS 🧸 We will be hosting our SECOND ANNUAL TOY DRIVE!! SALT will be accepting all donations during school hours by the front office and will be collecting on the weekends shown above! We will donate all toys to Toys for Tots foundation and make a kid smile!! 🪁🧸🎄

Last weeks athlete of the week for week of 10/18-10/22 goes to one of our own SALT leaders Rachel Barry!!❤️

Caoch Gardner stated,

“This week's nominee is a little different. Rachel has not been able to play for quite some time due to injury. But that has not stopped her from doing everything she can to help the team. Getting injured in her senior season, it would be easy and justifiable for Rachel's attitude to decline. But it has not, she shows up everyday with a smile on and ready to help the team wherever she can. Whether it be doing the book for us, or getting water for players on the field. Rachel is truly about the team each and everyday. With that, Rachel has been working extremely hard to recover from injury and get back on the field. Everyday she is taking proper steps to do this, which sounds easy. But again, with this being her senior season, she very easily could have just dropped off and given up. “

Great job Rachel!!

This week is NH Tackles Hunger Week!! We will be collecting canned goods this week during lunches and at home contests! By bringing 2 cans to our home football game on 10/9, admission will be free! You can also donate money to our cause at this link ! Help us win Crusaders!!

Athlete of The Week for Week of 9/20-9/24 was awarded to Madison McCaffrey!! Madison was explained to always show hard work and has always pushed herself. As a freshman, her coaches describe her as someone who always stands out and is there for her teammates! Congrats Maddie! ❤️💙

OUR VARSITY BOYS SOCCER TEAM LOOKING SNAZZY ON THEIR BUSINESS TRIP ON THE ROAD🔥⚽️! Equal match for both soccer teams tonight as girls end in a 2-2 tie in double OT and boys tie 0-0 in double OT. Our Girls Varsity Field Hockey beat Central 2-1!! Girls Volleyball playing Central tomorrow!! GREAT PERFORMANCES FROM ALL CRUSADER TEAMS!! ❤️💙

Our first Athlete of The Week for the 2021-2022 sports season goes to Shannon Sullivan!!

Shannon, as stated by her coach, is an
“Honorary Member of the Boys XC Team
Volunteer/Aid to William Peterson who is my first autistic athlete.
She comes to practice daily and takes Billy through his practice loops, and also helps run him on the meet courses. She is kind, caring, and extraordinarily generous with her time. We are very appreciative to have her with us.”
