Pre-workout/intra-workout carbs can help with not only fueling your workout, but keep you from feeling sick from blood sugar dips.
If you eat a full meal with enough carbs 1 hour prior, probably not needed.
If you train right after work and don't have that meal, it's probably something to look into.

Don't flood my comments with outliers and what ifs!! This is the generic foundation. The vast majority of people will succeed in their weight loss if they follow these tips. If you think you're some special snowflake, you have fun doing what you're doing.
If you have any diagnosed medical condition, you should consult the appropriate medical professional, not internet videos.
