Mbuemo’s 20-goal season at Brentford wasn’t a fluke; it came when he was allowed to drift inside, attack the box and finish with his left foot instead of staying pinned wide.
At United last season he still hit 11 in 33 games.
This year he’s already scoring and getting into those same dangerous spots.
Keep him close to goal and the numbers can explode.
25+ And a Golden Boot push is possible if the service stays consistent.

Composure that shouldn’t exist at 21. He takes the ball with two or three bodies around him like he’s collecting a parcel, and then glides through the first press instead of smashing it sideways.
Most midfielders at that age either panic or play safe and He does neither.
He doesn’t just hold possession, he moves the whole team ten yards up the pitch with it.
Resisting a press isn’t just strength; it’s also the little body feints and the way he opens his hips so the next pass is already on.
This is why it feels like most of y'all are already watching someone who already knows how the next five years are going to look.
He’s 21 now, and he’s not a teenager anymore, and United spent big this summer on midfielders, but we’ve actually got “food at home” because the one who already understands the club, the tempo, and Carrick’s demands didn’t need to be bought or imported.
And the best part is it that it doesn’t look forced. It’s just how he plays. Years of that coming.

My XI for Everton away on Sunday
Lammens
Dalot — Maguire — Martínez — Dorgu
Mainoo — Tielemans
Mbeumo — Bruno — Cunha
Rashford
Rashford gives us a runner behind Everton’s defence, while Cunha and Mbeumo can attack the half spaces and isolate their full-backs.
Mainoo plus Tielemans gives Carrick control and progression, with Bruno free between the lines.
The key press aggressively, move the ball quickly and attack Everton before they settle into their defensive shape.

Good morning, Reds worldwide! ❤️🌍
We may not have gotten all the signings we wanted, and the left-back position still needed strengthening. But this is our squad now.
So let’s stand together, back our players, and give them our full support. One club. One team. One family. ❤️🔴
Together, we fight. Together, we believe. Together, we push for glory. 🏆🔥

Carrick did not arrive as a passive figurehead.
After the interim spell he was given the job because he had clear ideas: back four, Bruno as a 10, Mainoo involved, midfield that can control and carry.
INEOS spent around £155m on three midfielders plus cheaper additions while selling or releasing seniors.
They walked away from £100m deals and failed to land a specialist left-back, and that is not on Carrick.
Carrick does not set the budget or close deals. Wilcox and Berrada do.
So don’t dump the entire squad on him. He can identify the gaps; but he CANNOT print money.
He is now the permanent coach, so results increasingly belong to him.

Good morning, Manchester United fans worldwide. ❤️🌍
Yes, we wanted more signings. Yes, the left-back position still needed strengthening. Yes, the squad may not be exactly where we hoped it would be.
But the transfer window is over, and now it's time to back the players we have. 🔴
No excuses. No constant negativity. Let's get behind the team, fight for every point, and see what this squad can achieve.
The season is still young. The title charge continues. 🏆🔥
Glory Glory Manchester United! ❤️

United rejected Everton’s late loan bid for Joshua Zirkzee specifically because there was no time left to bring in a replacement before the 11pm deadline.
Zirkzee had been available all summer.
Fiorentina talks collapsed after he turned them down; Juventus went for Nick Woltemade instead.
Everton only came in at the eleventh hour as a backup when their move for Folarin Balogun hit medical issues.
United’s refused to thin the attacking options under Michael Carrick with UCL football coming and Sesko still building fitness.
Zirkzee himself had already indicated he would stay and fight if no new striker arrived.
Deadline day itself was quiet for United, the window closed without the kind of drama fans had been expecting.
But Keeping a player they had been willing to sell, while having no alternative ready, is exactly the kind of indecisive end that makes a window feel forgettable.
