As a personal trainer, I wear many hats. This week in particular, my therapist hat got some serious use.
Every one of my clients this week was working through their own struggle, their own stress. Maybe it's just in the stars this week, who knows. But it was consistent with everyone. So I stress this point to all of you:
The most important thing we can do for our body is to treat it with love and care. This comes in the form of physical activity, what we feed it, the people we surround ourselves with, our mental clarity and how we choose to handle stress. There is no shame, no guilt, no harm, in stopping to breathe, rest and recharge when we feel drained. LISTEN TO YOUR BODY - it knows better than you.
Take the weekend to rest and recharge. Find space and necessity in it ❤
