HWY 22 Gym completed the move to 3061 E Causeway Approach, Mandeville. Couldn’t have done it without the help of some of the members. You know who you are. If you haven’t checked out Hwy 22 Gym, time to take a look. We are open 24/7, key fob access and the best strength and power lifting equipment on the Northshore.

Due to lease issues, Hwy 22 Gym will be moving at the end of Oct. The new location is 3061 East Causeway Approach, Mandeville LA 70471 (2.3 miles from old location). We have been working hard to prep the new space and it is coming along great. While the location may have changed, the equipment and atmosphere will remain the same. The move will start Friday 28th Oct ~1500. If anyone is available to give us a hand, it would greatly be appreciated. Any questions, you can call Joe 985.807.4952 or Craig 504.319.7645.

This girl stalked my whole workout today.
The hay is in the barn, some work on openers and tricep work. Thanks to and Craig Monroe for the coaching and workout plan. Not much more to do except eat, get healthy and get ready. Sept 12, closing fast.
Last heavy Squat day complete. Circa Max started with 340lb of band tension. Worked top weight at 575, 625, 665, 690, had plenty of power for more but shut it down. All injuries feeling good. 2 more weeks till the platform. North Shore Power Royal on Sept 12.

Well thanks to some good coaching and shirt training things seem to be improving. took me through some setups and reps and working on the kinks. 355, 365 went very smooth. The goal of 400 is in my sights. We are winding down the 4th work week quick. Thanks to the crew at for the help.
Bench day at , not my strongest lift by far. been working my shirt technique. Today we made some progress and have a couple more weeks to make it work. Thanks to the crew at hwy22gym for the support and spot. 5 working weeks left before Northshore Power Royal.
Squats went very good until the end. Duffalo bar with 260lbs of chain. Hit 650 and 700 pretty easy. On the 700, felt some pain near IT band on left quad. Iced it last night for a while and it’s feeling a little tender today. Need let it calm down a little. Maybe it’s my body telling me to work on my weak bench that my squat will be good enough lol. These are the times you need to stay positive I guess.
