Put down the racket for one night and dust off those cowboy boots — we’re trading smashes and drop shots for do-si-dos and boot-scootin’ fun! 🤠🎶

Join us Saturday, August 29 for our Square Dance Party — a night of great music, dancing, food, laughs, and plenty of questionable dance moves. 😂

Never square danced before? PERFECT. You don’t need to know what you’re doing — just show up ready to have fun! Bring your badminton buddies, your family, your friends… or that person you’ve always wanted to see in cowboy boots. 👢😆

🏸 Please Help Save Women’s Badminton at El Camino College 🏸

Many of our MBBC members have strong ties to the ECC Women’s Badminton program. Current team member Anya Gore is one of our club members, and longtime MBBC member John Britton served as ECC’s Women’s Badminton head coach for more than 20 years before his passing three years ago. David stepped in to continue John’s legacy.

Last year, ECC eliminated both Women’s Tennis and Women’s Badminton due to budget cuts. David has spent over a year fighting for these athletes, leading to an OCR investigation into possible Title IX violations. As a result, ECC reinstated Women’s Tennis on April 30—but Women’s Badminton has still not been restored.

David isn’t giving up, and neither should we.
