Some of you were on the Some Tuesday livestream with us the day we spotted land after 28 long days at sea. The energy and enthusiasm is impossible to describe.
But then, we had to deal with a dangerous situation: we hadn’t run the motors in a week and a line was wrapped around the starboard prop, restricting our ability to maneuver. I had to go into the water to fix it, but how? A swim in the open ocean could be deadly. Limping into a bay to drop anchor could also end badly. What to do?
