For the first time ever, the Mustang 9U International World Series is coming to Manhattan Beach!
From Friday July 24th to Monday July 27th the best 9U baseball players from around the world will compete at Premier Field for a chance to be crowned Mustang 9U World Series Champions.
South Bay Pony is proud to host the Mustang-9 World Series in 2026 and 2027, with a vision of making Manhattan Beach the home of this incredible international event for years to come.
The event also includes opening festivities beginning on Thursday, July 23rd. Come cheer on the future stars of baseball, and help us welcome the world to Manhattan Beach!

⭐️ 9U Green All-Stars Recap ⭐️
The 9U Mustang Green All Stars finished the postseason with a 13-8 record. The team captured the Silver Championship at the South Bay Classic with a 3-2 win over Whittier PONY. One of the season’s biggest moments came when Angus Gatewood hit a two-run home run over the fence to tie the championship game! The pitching staff also delivered one of its best performances of the year, allowing just three hits and no walks. The team also won the PONY Section Tournament and reached the championship game of the Dana Point Tournament.
As the All-Star season progressed, the players shifted their focus from playing time and positions to the team’s success, embracing a positive attitude and team-first mentality.
One of the favorite memories of the summer came during the Dana Point Tournament, when South Bay families gathered at the Marriott pool after the games, creating a fun team bonding experience off the field.

⭐️ 10U Gold All-Stars Recap ⭐️
The 10U South Bay Gold squad finished the season with a 10-3 record, highlighted by championships at the South Bay Classic and the PONY District Tournament. The team earned several come-from-behind victories throughout the summer, including a walk-off win in the South Bay Classic Championship, when Kingston Tracy’s game-winning hit scored Miles Pavoni.
Carrying a 15-player roster, South Bay Gold was the only team in the South Bay Classic to bat all 15 players, with every player making meaningful contributions throughout the tournament and season.
The season also benefited from a memorable kickoff party hosted by the Bjelajac family, which helped bring the team together from the start.

⭐️ 11U South Bay Green All Stars Recap ⭐️
Despite dealing with arm injuries over the final two weeks of the season and finishing with an 11-10-1 record, the 11U South Bay Green squad showed resilience throughout the summer, earning hardware in three tournaments and coming just one win shy of advancing to the season’s final championship tournament.
The team’s success came from strong pitching, timely hitting, solid defense, and a determination to compete in every game. The support from the team’s families was also a key part of the season, providing encouragement through both wins and challenges.

Locals and friends are invited to come watch the South Bay PONY 7U & 8U All-Stars teams as they participate in our 2nd Annual South Bay Machine Pitch Classic! ⚾️
24 teams from Los Angeles, Orange County, and San Diego are competing this weekend featuring Jugs Pitching Machines set at 40 MPH.
