Our head coach is BACK from a well-deserved vacation, but we just wanted to thank ,, , and .o for covering while he was out. Back to our regularly scheduled programming.

The team had it’s first big group competition this past weekend!

First, want to thank for the wonderful event. I felt that the matches were run beautifully and quickly.

As a new gym owner and coach, I left the tournament feeling grateful for the members .

For the teammates who helped with the competitor’s training and performance, both in the gym and those who came out to help coached and record matches, I thank you very much. You all made my coaching and teaching job efficient and easier.

For the competitors, I want to thank you for stepping up to the challenge. For a number of you, it was your first time. The decision you made took courage but you made the choice to do it and took it seriously. I’m really proud of you.

Your choice also helped a new small Jiu-Jitsu gym participate in a beautiful sport with it’s fellow members of the community. You gave it a chance to grow and be better. I was pushed to be a better coach/teacher. Because of you, I learn how to lesson plan better. With that knowledge that I get from you, it helps your other teammates who don’t compete.

When you competed, you brought with you inspiration and information, which will help our team and small school grow into something beautiful.

Competitors, and future ones of our team, you have my deepest appreciation.

Beautiful turnout at Pax tonight for all-levels BJJ 🤙

Congrats to Bill Crowley on his promotion to blue belt!

Crowley and I got a lot of good work done this year through the classes and privates.

Using both we cover a lot of problems he was experiencing and how to fix them. I had the honor to watch his progress as we continued to move through out the year.

I’m so happy and proud of this guy.

Also excited for next year and add new colors to our ranks. The students are doing a lot of great work and are leveling up.

We are hosting an open mat for Thanksgiving weekend! Saturday November 26th Paxibellum will be open from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM. Come roll, bring questions, get that drilling time in! Reminder that the gym will be closed Thursday the 24th and Friday the 25th. 🦃
