Something is better than nothing.

Step-up variation. Ordinarily, step-ups are performed using a step that’s about knee height. Next, the swing leg (back leg), moves back similar to a lunge allowing the hip joint to descend below the knee joint.
In this variation I am using a lower step, but instead, lowering straight down and using the swing leg to plant and assist. I’m still getting the hip joint lower than my knee joint, but using my other leg to modify or aid in a typically unilateral move. Try this if you’re starting out, or have joint issues which prevent unilateral work.

Elbow pain? It might be golfer’s elbow. Using a lightly weighted pole, broomstick or even golf club bend your elbow 90° and externally rotate your wrist as seen in the video. Be patient and consistent. Golfer’s elbow can be a stubborn injury to overcome. ✌🏽

Hate crunches and sit-ups? Me too.

Try the body saw. This exercise can be performed with a suspension trainer, (as seen), floor gliders, or even a towel or socks on hard smooth flooring.

Start positioned in an elbow plank, activating the core and squeezing the glutes. This will enable you to keep your hips low and body straight. Slowly press the forearms into the ground pushing tge body back as far as possible, then slowly return to start position.

It takes a little practice, but beats boring crunches or sit-ups every day of the week.
