New flags were added to the baskets, everything is mowed, w**d ate and some cedars have been trimmed!

University Park Work Day

We’ll meet at the pavilion at 8:30 to organize. We’ll be working around the sheds and trimming trees and brush along the roadways to make the park safer. Please bring chain and pole saws, clippers and pickups or trailers. This project helps recertify University Park as a Fire Wise community and win grants so we need everyone’s help.

After the morning’s work, you are invited to our first ever Chili Cook Off at the pavilion!

Bring your own “secret” chili. Attendees will cast their votes to determine the winner. We plan on eating at noon. Please bring your own beverages, a dessert and table service. UP will provide hot dogs, buns and cheese for chili dogs. Travis Gilbert will be the coordinator for the Cook Off.

Hey there sports fans! Spring is fast approaching and we have some work to do around the course. We will be schedule another work day in the near future. Please respond with some suggestions for what areas you feel need attention.

There was an incident earlier this week where someone hit the bench on #6 tee box and tore up #9 green. If you know anything about either/both incidents please let me know.
