oh 2016 what a year…probably one of the hardest and best I’ve experienced to date.
Learned how to teach with an eyepatch
Prayed for a miracle
That miracle came and gave me back my sight.
I started to get my groove back.
I realized I was the strongest person I knew.
Thank you to the people who got me through, you know who you are.

A year of Georgia up until her 3rd birthday. I’ll get to the rest of the year sometime in 2027. My baby turned into a tiny tyrant of everything I’ve always wanted.

New Year, new headshots! I’d waited a solid 9 years in between my last set and these, gone through IVF, had a baby, aged like any person would…all that to say I was petrified. Well, I think they turned out pretty darn fantastic and maybe this year, as daunting as it might seem, will turn out that way too. 2026, the year of 💪

We sang, we laughed, and I did my best Irish Step dancing. Thank you for your incredible energy and for singing EVERY WORD. Now back to wearing black when nobody is dead. 😝

THIS IS 43!!!! Grateful would be the largest understatement of the century. Thank you to every beautiful soul that made my birthday absolutely FABULOUS.

True to form my 2024 highlights go from December through about April and then I ran out of pics 🤷‍♀️. This is how I’ve learned to operate this year, I call it the “that didn’t go as expected, now what’s next” approach. I’m excited for 2025 and looking forward to little changes. A full 180 in 1 year is unrealistic so I’ll aim to feel a little stronger this year, a little better about myself, just a little.
I’m so grateful to the friends and family that keep me going, a job I’d be lost without and a child that dazzles me daily.

I started when I was 29 and 13 years later…well, you do the math. I’ve officially taught longer than I’ve done ANYTHING in my entire life. It’s the longest relationship I’ve ever had and we’ve managed not to off each other! All jokes aside, it’s a privilege to love what I do and love the people I do it with…except when you use your cell phones 😝. Thank you to my colleagues who keep me sane and laughing. Thank you for telling me I’m Gen Z when I’m most certainly not despite my best efforts. Thank you for my life, I wouldn’t be here without you.
