NYPD Cycling Team

The Department lost an absolute LEGEND today at the hands of 9/11 related cancer which is still sadly taking lives 25 years later.
Police Officer Ricky Vitali who served the Department with honor for nearly 39 years was taken from us today.
Ricky, you will be missed by the Tens of THOUSANDS of men and women that you personally met with over the decades, helping them become OFFICERS of this great Department, serving with the as a Delegate at the NYC Police Academy for over 21 years. You passed your legacy onto your son who graduated the Police Academy almost 5 years ago. We will miss you, your smile, your joy, your patience and your professionalism.
You were one of the greats Ricky.

Members of the and the met together to honor the life of Sgt Theresa H. Foiles who passed away 9/24/2023 from 9/11 related cancer during her time during recovery efforts on 9/11/2001.
Theresa served with the NYPD for 21 years serving in the rank of Police Officer, Detective and Sergeant.

Great riding 42 miles in todays PRE-Police Unity Tour with our family in the . Glad we beat the raindrops!
Tomorrow the Police Unity Tour kicks off as cyclists throughout the country all ride into Washington D.C. for Police Week and gather at the National Police Memorial Wall, honoring the many fallen officers who paid the ultimate sacrifice.
May God watch over and keep all our cyclists safe as they journey 300+ miles into DC.

Wishing our extended family of Brothers and Sisters in Blue a safe ride as they travel up the coast from North Miami Beach to Daytona Beach at the 30th Anniversary of the Florida Tour De Force as they ride for Police Officers killed in the Line Of Duty.

Saturday we competed at the Cedar Creek Spring Duathlon!
Def didnt feel like Spring out there with cool temps along with gusty winds.
