Okayโฆ I just have to share because Iโm obsessed. ๐คฉ๐
Every time I order from my sweet friend , she somehow outdoes herself.
She even had a special that night where I got this adorable bedazzled pin from the incredibly talented ~ FreshiesNMore
This isnโt just about the jewelry for me. Sheโs been in my life since she used to watch my boys when they were little, and over the years sheโs become like the little sister I never had. ๐ฉท
Soโฆ donโt be mean to my friend. ๐ Go scan the QR code and show her some love.

Todayโs lesson from my injury: Never underestimate the value of products that make life easier. ๐
Iโve had this Lโange brush dryer for probably eight years, and Iโve always loved it. But with one hand in a cast? I have a whole new appreciation for it.
Recovery has become one long game of Okay, how can I do this differently? And honestly? Thatโs a lesson that applies to a lot more than hair.
Life threw me an unexpected curveball, and recovery is going to take some time. For now, Iโm choosing grace over frustration and healing over rushing.
To everyone who has reached out, checked in, and supported meโฆthank you. It means the world!

Pain has a way of teaching lessons we never asked to learn.
Some of the hardest seasons of my life didnโt break me. They revealed me. They taught me that protecting my peace isnโt selfish, choosing myself isnโt wrong, and growth often begins where comfort ends.
I wouldnโt choose the pain, but I Iโm grateful for what it taught me.
Sometimes I look back at old videos and barely recognize that version of me.
Not because of how I looked, but because of everything life has taught me since then.
The workouts have changed. The seasons have changed. I have changed, but one thing hasnโt.
I still believe movement has the power to build confidence, remind women of their strength, and help them reconnect with themselves.
If it doesnโt bring you joy, confidence, health, or purpose, whatโs the point?
Hereโs to honoring how far weโve come while continuing to grow. ๐
Thereโs something so special about celebrating life through
movement.๐
Birthday barre events are truly one of my favorite things to teach. The energy, laughter, and connection that fill the room create an invigorating joy thatโs absolutely contagious. Whether itโs a birthday celebration, girlsโ day out, bachelorette party, or just an excuse to gather your favorite people together, itโs such an honor to play a small role in someoneโs special day.
A huge thank you to our birthday girl for choosing me to lead such a beautiful group of friends and family this morning. It was the perfect way to kick off a birthday celebration, and Iโm so grateful to have shared it with all of you. ๐โจ

Because the best celebrations leave you smiling, sweating, and making memories together.
I donโt always know exactly what someone needs to hear when they walk into my class or read one of my posts.
But time and time again, the right conversation seems to happen at the right moment.
The right encouragement finds the right person.
And Iโve come to believe thatโs not an accident.
So if youโve ever left one of my classes, read one of my posts, or heard something that felt like it was meant specifically for youโฆ
Maybe it was.
Maybe God was just using me as the messenger. ๐
Standing Shoulder Press: Good Form vs. Common Mistakes
One of the biggest mistakes I see with the standing shoulder press isnโt the weight. Itโs the setup.
โ
Soft bend in the knees
โ
Core braced
โ
Ribs stacked over hips
โ
Long, tall spine
โ
Press overhead without losing position
vs.
โ Knees locked
โ Lower back arched
โ Ribs flared forward
โ Core disengaged
โ Using your spine instead of your shoulders
The goal isnโt just to get the weight overhead. The goal is to create a stable foundation so your shoulders can do the work safely and effectively.
A strong press starts from the ground up. When your core is engaged and your body is aligned, youโre not only protecting your back but also building better strength patterns that carry over into everything else you do.
Remember: good form isnโt about looking perfect. Itโs about putting your body in the best position to succeed.
Control first. Weight second. ๐ช๐ป

Right now Iโm lifting lighter, slowing the tempo, and focusing on form and the mind-muscle connection while recovering from an injury.
When you remove momentum, you learn very quickly whether youโre actually controlling the movement.
Sometimes less weight creates more awareness and better results in the long run.
Growth doesnโt happen when we stay comfortable. It happens when things get hard. Messy. Uncomfortable.
We have to be willing to get a little dirty, a little muddy, and push past the urge to quit when things feel tough.
Thatโs where real change happens.
Not just physically, but mentally too.
In the habits we build.
In the discipline to keep showing up.
In the space we create for ourselves, even on the days it would be easier not to.
Comfort rarely changes us. Consistency through discomfort does.
