This was my body (left) after being assaulted. I was struggling to eat, barely slept, and lifted like crazy to try to keep the demons at bay. πΉ
I felt so depressed and out of control of my life.
I didnβt care about anything but I KNEW that I needed to eat, I needed to work out, and I needed to be in therapy to eventually get better. π
I was struggling with my ribs coming βoutβ due to the consistent panic attacks affecting my ability to breathe properly.
I had to stop powerlifting due to the excruciating pain of the rib thing, and I felt so lost. π
I knew I needed a coach because the week I quit powerlifting I stopped caring about everything. I didnβt eat, didnβt go out, I became one with my couch.
After a week of moping I decided to stop letting a creepy man dictate the path of my life.
I found a new coach that better fit my lifestyle () - YES! Coaches need coaches too π
I got back in the gym and became very dedicated to a new goal.
The path to self betterment with bodybuilding aligned perfectly with the work I was doing to improve my mental health.
Over time I began to find more joy in each day, and the urge to care about things trickled back into my life and it really showed in my body and on my face.
It is not what happens to you that will dictate your life, but what you choose to do about it.
I recommend doing spectacular things π

I feel happier than I have in a long time. Sad, too but so utterly grateful I have amazing people around me to help me through tough times β€οΈ

Traded my π for a π!
Progress over the last few months has been CRAZY πππ
I looked good before, but honestly I FEEL so much better now. I train 3-4 times a week for around an hour and itβs SO much easier on my body and my life than what I was doing beforeβ¦
Training 6 days a week for 2-3 hours is absolutely NOT necessary to see insane progress π₯
Itβs just not feasible for people with jobs and families either π₯Ήπ€
If youβ¦
1.) havenβt been seeing results fast enough doing what youβre doing
2.) want to lose fat and gain muscle
3.) are an ACTION TAKER ready to START ππ»

As you can tell in the first few photos I look smaller, but really just growing and losing body fat!!
Last few Iβve put on enough muscle to grow a π bigger than the one made of fat πππ
Taking progress pics is SO important because throughout this process I have weighed +/- 2 lbs from 165!!!
