MAASP began in the winter of 2000, with five students and three volunteers. There were just five lessons that year.
The Mankato Area Adaptive Ski Program, coordinated through Mankato Community Education and Recreation, strives to promote personal growth and life enrichment through teaching individuals with physical disabilities how to ski.
