Beer mile #7 2024 edtiion was yesterday and shoooooowei!! It was as expected, tedious and brief. The Purveyors of Stoke AR crew is blessed to be able partake in these endeavors with such an amazing group of friends. Happy Fall Yall.

It's been just a bit over 2 weeks since the team competed at the USARA National championships at Snowshoe Mountain . I don't think there has been a day where we haven't thought about this race at some point, Christopher Smith Josh McKinney Ben Daniel. I think this was the toughest race we have ever completed, rough weather made for slow travel and rough conditions but we endured. Last Saturday Josh, Chris, and Ben Daniel competed in the East Fork 12hr Adventure Race put on by Topo Adventure Sports. Consisted of a Paddle, Hike, and bike throughout the beautiful East Fork State park in Ohio. Beautiful area and our first time in this park and our first race with Topo Adventure Sports. Made a few Nav mistakes that cost us a bit and also had some bike issues but overall a great training/racing experience. We got 10th out of 26th overall and had a blast. Ended up covering just under 40 miles. Thanks to Topo for a great race!!

Last weekend Chris Josh and Ben competed in the The Mothman Adventure Race. This was a 4hr race that consisted of the usual hike, bike, paddle format. We were pretty stoked about seeing how the RD laid out the course with such a short timeline. Well, he nailed it! We had a blast and actually got our first ever win!!!!! Cheers to doing dope s**t in the woods with friends!!!

Little late on the post but Chris and Ben competed in The Green Corn Moon race put on by Lost Arrow Sports on 8/03. It was a 6hr Rogaine race from 6pm to midnight. We raced as non-competitive so we could race with Amanda and just work on our Navs. Goal was to clear the course and we were oh.... so..... close!!!!! Got within about 10ft of the last CP but we did not see it. Had to run to the finish to be at the clock and got back with just under a minute to spare! Maybe next year!

Live Tracking 2024 Shenandoah Epic - Live Event Tracking

The Stockville race put on by Rootstock Racing is happening this weekend!!! Due to busy schedules we have another new team member jumping in to partake!!! Thanks to Travis Wenger for accepting the challenge, he will be joining Ben Daniel to take on this challenging course This is a 24hr race that is spread over 2 days and consists only of treking. This will be Travis's first adventure race but I know he is up to the challenge. Looking forward to another chilly weekend in the woods. This race is a great race to work on honing your adventure racing skills.

Ben Daniel and new team member Kelly Davis will be traveling to Davis West Virginia to compete in Almost Heaven Adventure Race put on by Adventure Enablers!! This is another 24hr race that includes Hiking, Canooing, and MTBiking. Weather is looking cold and wet with highs in the mid-40's, low's in the mid-30's, and high chance of rain!!! Live Tracking Almost Heaven 2023 - Live Event Tracking

2 of the Purveyors of Stoke AR members and recent addition Kelly Davis competed as solo's in the Mohican Triathalon this past Saturday. Race consisted of a 6 mile paddle, 5.6 mile MTBike ride, and finished with a 6.6 mile run. Beautiful course that took us down the Mohican River, the beginners loop on the MTBike trail, and a run over the suspension bridge up to the Gorge overlook and back to the finish. Thanks OMBC for putting on a great race! This was the first year of the race and was not promoted much, next year should be a bit bigger. Chris ended up finishing 2nd overall and Kelly Davis got 2nd in the Womens division. Great job to both of them for the great finish. Welcome to the Purveyors of Stoke AR team Kelly Davis, we are stoked to have you!!!! Kelly and Ben Daniel will be competing in the 24hr Almost Heaven Adventure race next month in Davis West Virginia put on by Adventure Enablers. Super late post but better late then never. .5730 and competed in the 24HR Maine Summer Adventure Race on on 7/22 put on by Strong Machine Adventure Racing. It was a tough course for us and we had quite a few Nav mistakes but we had a blast. We ended up covering around 110 miles overall between the hiking, biking, and Kayaking sections. Maine was absolutely beautiful and we hope to be back next year!! Huge thanks to Strong Machine Adventrure Racing for putting on an awesome race and thanks as always to for for all goods to keep us pushing!! Thanks to for some of the dope pics.
