Bruno Amorim,

A native of São Paulo, Brazil. Bruno Amorim has dedicated his life to the sport of volleyball, building an international career that spans six continents as both a professional player and coach.

Bruno began his professional playing career at the age of 16 in Brazil’s top indoor professional league. Over the years, he competed in 14 professional leagues across Europe, Asia, South America, Central America, the Middle East, and Africa, gaining a unique global perspective on the game. Today, he continues to compete on the professional beach volleyball circuit in the United States.

As a coach, Bruno has spent more than a decade developing athletes at every level, from youth and club volleyball to collegiate and professional programs. His coaching experience includes Infinity Athletics Volleyball Club (2012–2015), the Arabict Club U23 International Team (2015), Earlham College (2016–2018), Centerville High School (2018–2022), Indiana University East Men’s Volleyball (2024–2026), P1 Beach Volleyball Club (Head Coach, 2020–2023), and Rev Volleyball Club’s top 18-1 team (2022–2024).

In 2023, Bruno joined the inaugural coaching staff of Indy Ignite Pro Volleyball, Indiana’s first professional indoor volleyball franchise. Serving in multiple coaching roles during the organization’s historic launch, he helped establish the culture and foundation of a program built on excellence, player development, and long-term success. His leadership, international experience, and player first philosophy have been instrumental in the team’s rapid growth and success.

Throughout his career, Bruno has remained passionate about mentoring athletes both on and off the court. His coaching philosophy extends beyond technical development, emphasizing leadership, confidence, discipline, and personal growth.
