It's not too late to sign up for the upcoming Equine Hanna Somatics® workshop happening in northeast Ohio! Get a hands on introduction to this type of bodywork.

I love working with minis, especially ones with a visible dorsal line. It makes it so easy to notice spine positioning changes.

This little girl had quite a bit of chronic muscular contraction in her 4 limbs that first time we met. That's where we focused our work during that first Equine Hanna Somatics® session. And without directly working with her back yet, we could already see a change in the shape of her topline.

Because the body works as a whole. Tension and compensations in the limbs will influence a horse's posture and weight distribution.

Gwen makes this soft nickering sound when I ask her to gently soften and flex her poll. Do you hear it?

We will be offering one last yoga nidra with horses experience for the year on November 14th (2pm to 3:30pm). With Thanksgiving on the horizon, the theme will be on GRATITUDE. I'm already working on writing my own yoga nidra meditation to deliver for this session! It will conclude with a round of sound & gratitude with hand drums.

Reach out if interested in more details for this one! 😊

Earl was excited to have a new friend arrive to his herd! Harley was a bit less thrilled.
