We’re looking for a Cubs Coordinator to help lead and grow Tahoma Lacrosse’s introductory program!

Our Cubs program is often a player’s first introduction to lacrosse, and a big part of this role is helping grow our club by creating a fun, welcoming experience that introduces new families to Tahoma Lacrosse and keeps them involved for years to come.

The Cub Coordinator will help organize practices, coordinate schedules, communicate with families, support coaches and volunteers, and help introduce more boys and girls to the game.

If you’re organized, enjoy working with kids and families, and want to help build the future of Tahoma Lacrosse, we’d love to hear from you!

High School Girls Fall Lacrosse Registration is Open!

Keep your stick in your hands this fall and continue building your skills!

Tahoma Lacrosse’s high school girl’s program is a great way to strengthen basic fundamentals and work on advanced position skills. If you are new to lacrosse, this is a great way to check out the sport and a relaxed and supportive environment.

Depending on the number of players and availability, we hope to participate in one tournament.

Girls Youth Fall Lacrosse Registration is Open!

Tahoma Lacrosse’s Youth Girls Fall Program (K–8) is designed for players of all experience levels who want to improve their fundamentals, build confidence, and prepare for the spring season.

This is a practice-only program with no games, making it the perfect opportunity for:
🥍 New players to learn the game in a welcoming environment.
🥍 Returning players to continue developing their skills without the commitment of a full season.
Whether your daughter is picking up a stick for the first time or looking to sharpen her game, our coaches provide a positive, encouraging experience where every player can grow, have fun, and build a love for lacrosse.

Congratulations to all of our players who earned the Madison Casey Award!

At the end of every spring season, Tahoma Lacrosse Club has the tradition of asking the coaches to choose only one player from their team that deserves the honor of receiving the Madison Casey Award.

Madison Casey was an amazing lacrosse player, coach and friend of the club. She selflessly devoted so much of her time to enrich the lives and lacrosse experience for girls in the program. Shad in infectious smile and the girls who were coached by her were touched in the most profound and positive way. This award has been established in her honor.

The criteria for the award is having a positive attitude, possessing lacrosse skills, displaying leadership and sportsmanship and solid academics.

Congratulations to High School player Georgia Bretzke for earning the Vern Smith Legacy Award!

It’s a huge honor for the player to be chosen as the recipient. This award represents someone who goes above and beyond to give back to the club - through volunteering in the program, helping, supporting and encouraging teammates, as well as other club members and this player shows a love of the team and the game.
Vern Smith was the founder and first coach of Tahoma Lacrosse Club in 1999! Vern played lacrosse on the East Coast before moving to Washington State, where he saw potential for the Maple Valley area to grow the game of lacrosse. We are forever grateful for him and his vision!

At the end of every spring season, Tahoma Lacrosse Club has the tradition of asking the HS coaches to choose only one player from their team that deserves the honor of receiving the award. A player can only earn this award once in their lacrosse career.

This Memorial Day, we remember and honor the brave women and men who gave their lives in service to our country. Their sacrifice allows us the freedom we cherish everyday - on and off the field.
