Freestyle / Smack Pilots Announcement

This is an important reminder regarding music submissions for both the Freestyle and Smack categories.

ALL MUSIC MUST BE SUBMITTED NO LATER THAN FRIDAY, OCTOBER 9.

This deadline is firm. Failure to submit your music by October 9 will result in disqualification from the applicable category. We will NOT accept new music after the deadline or during the contest.

REQUIRED FILE NAMING FORMAT

Freestyle:

lastname.freestyle.1
lastname.freestyle.2
lastname.freestyle.3
etc.

Smack:

lastname.smack.1
lastname.smack.2
lastname.smack.3
etc.

DURING THE CONTEST

Before entering the ready box, you MUST stop by the music booth and tell us which mix you will be flying.

For example, if you are flying Routine 2, simply tell the music booth “Number 2.” We will already know whether you are flying Freestyle or Smack and will select the appropriate file.

Do not enter the ready box without first confirming your music selection with the music booth.

These procedures are in place to keep the contest moving efficiently and eliminate unnecessary delays. With the number of flights we need to complete, we cannot accommodate last-minute music changes, new submissions, or delays caused by pilots not following the procedure.

You should have received this same notification through email. Please reply to that email address your music.

Please do not wait until the last minute.
