819 lessons. 49 incredible swimmers. And three real-life moments when the skills learned at Lakeside helped save a life 🥹.
Those numbers are almost impossible for us to wrap our heads around. Every lesson represented a child learning to do something hard. A child becoming safer, stronger and more confident in the water. A parent trusting us with someone they love more than anything in this world. And sometimes, those 15-minute lessons became the skills a child needed when it mattered most.
This season included:

🌊 144 refresher lessons
🌊 81 maintenance lessons
🌊 46 stroke lessons
🌊 49 amazing students
What began with 16 students in 2023 has grown into something far bigger than we ever imagined, and we’re just getting started.
In 2027, three instructors will return, one new instructor will join the Lakeside family, and plans are officially underway for a second Lakeside location in Olathe, KS!
To every parent who trusted us, every child who worked through the hard moments, and every person who supported Lakeside Survival Swim: thank you. It has been the greatest privilege to teach your children skills that can last, and protect them, for a lifetime.
