Join us at Copper Sky Park for a beautiful morning by the lake honoring those who made the ultimate sacrifice. Then, stick around for the Veterans Memorial Monument Ribbon Cutting ceremony at 8:30am to recognize Maricopa’s local veterans! There will be lots of fun and festivities going on until 12pm 🇺🇸

We couldn’t be more grateful to have been able to repaint this local Veterans Memorial Monument to maintain the integrity and bravery that it resembles, and we couldn’t be more proud to be a part of the Maricopa community. 🫡

Start your day at the Maricopa Memorial Day 5K at 6:30 AM and then head over to commemorate the unveiling of the Veterans Memorial Monument, also at Copper Sky. The ribbon-cutting ceremony begins at 8:30 am. This celebration is open to all, and we encourage race participants to participate in this special remembrance event.
