I could’ve had a sold-out event.

And for a moment, I really sat with that.

Because on paper, it would’ve looked better. Right? The leads were coming out of the woodworks daily to learn more information

But the more I thought about it, the more I realized that filling the room and building the right room are two completely different objectives—and I’m only interested in one of them.

So I held the standard.

I turned away over 50 people from my first mastermind dinner in PHX.

Not because they weren’t capable. But because I knew they wouldn’t have been able to contribute at the level I was expecting

And that’s the part people don’t always see. When I say I’m curating a space, I don’t mean it in a cute, aesthetic way. Even though that’s a piece of it too.

But what I’m actually doing is vetting based on what I know will make someone successful or not inside of the space. Be it a group, 1:1, in person, and more. And that’s a benefit for them

I’ve witnessed that when everyone in the space is operating at a certain standard the conversations go deeper, the expectations rise, people show up more prepared to share, and so much more.

It drops a level of the need to posture or prove

To contrast, when I hold these same standards in 1:1 containers, I find that clients have breakthroughs sooner and see positive results fasters

So I continue to go first, leading the way. Support clients in the way I know how to best

I traveled over 250 days last year because of my business and by choice 🥂

Gaining that level of perspective was always the vision. And truthfully, becoming someone who is always “on tour” didn’t take forever to create. It took about four intentional years of saying yes to rooms I had never been in before, and continuing to bet on myself when the outcome wasn’t guaranteed.

Travel has matured me in ways simply getting older never could. It taught me how to read people quickly, communicate across different personalities, stay calm in unfamiliar environments, recover when plans change, and carry confidence without needing everything to feel certain first. It expanded my standards, my perspective, and my understanding of how big life can actually get when you stand the various ways of people interact & live in this world

Some people only change when time passes. Others change because they keep experiencing life.

I’m grateful to be someone who continues to choose the latter because I know that also demonstrates to others what’s possible

I “speak” 4 languages… and I’m not talking about the ones taught in school.

I’m talking about the forms of fluency that have created movement in my life, career, and opportunities.

Let’s break down these new languages.

Reading the room (native)
This is less about analysis and more about awareness. It’s knowing how to enter a space and quickly understand the social temperature. Reading the room has helped me navigate conversations better, build trust faster, and know when to push, pause, or pivot.

Pro tip: Observe first. Notice the mood, the pace, how people are interacting, and what energy would actually serve the moment.

High-level pattern recognition (top tier skills)
This is different. It’s zooming out over time and noticing what repeats. I’ve spent a lot of time paying attention to the small details most people overlook. After a while, you realize many outcomes are not random at all. The same types of problems show up in different forms, and the same behaviors often create the same results.

Do this: Start reviewing your own life in patterns, not isolated moments. Look at what keeps working, what keeps draining you, what kinds of people create peace, and what situations repeatedly create friction.

Strategic sarcasm (A1)
People tell me I’m hilarious, and I’ve heard that so much, I’m starting to believe it. That said, I do appreciate humor because it creates ease. It can soften tension, make people feel comfortable, and say something honest without making everything feel so heavy.

Deal flow fluency (advanced)
Many of the best opportunities in life are not publicly posted or handed out evenly. They come from being remembered, being respected, and being close enough to the right ecosystems that your name enters the conversation naturally.

Try this: Instead of constantly asking where the opportunities are, ask yourself who knows what you do, who trusts you, and who would think to mention your name when something opens up.

Those languages have changed my life far more than anything I was graded on. What’s one language life taught you that school never could?

REAL TALK 🗣

Allll the gurus have been telling you that you don’t need a “fancy funnel” in your business and to that, I ask…what does that meannnnn??!

Like really.

What is classified as a fancy funnel? Taking a more strategic approach to marketing your business beyond posting content and showing up daily for your audience?

Good tactics, but overall sounds like slow growth to me… 🥱

A FUNNEL IS MORE THAN A PAGE. ⁠

Heck, it’s more than a few pages strung together by an order bump, upsell, and OTO. (One time offer)⁠

A funnel is an elaborate system that encourages cold, warm, and hot traffic to turn into paying customers that lead to repeat buyers over time. ⁠

Increasing customer lifetime value and transaction density. (We love this, We need this!!) 🥳⁠

Your marketing is what captures your audience’s attention and helps shift the “temperature” of your target community through forward-facing promotional efforts.⁠

So, a funnel comes in and operates as a cash collecting machine that COMPLETES the job that you have ALREADY laid the groundwork for through your organic and paid visibility and marketing efforts. ⁠

And let me tell you… A solid funnel can do a lot on the backend. For example:⁠

→Retarget buyers who show interest but don’t buy⁠
→Identify those in your audience who are most problem aware (that means you have a good chance at presenting your offer_⁠
→Continue to nurture those who have paid for your products and seamlessly prepare them to purchase the next one⁠

And more… 😁⁠

Once set up correctly, you don’t have to lift a finger. Rather, you get to be out and about running errands and your phone lights up with stripe notification letting you know that you’ve just made a sale (That becomes passive income 💅🏾) ⁠
