The annual race is held each year on June 19th to commemorate the Juneteenth holiday, bring awareness to benefits of prioritizing physical and mental health, and inspire our community to get active. The Metropolitan 5K welcomes all ages and fitness levels to participate. All proceeds from The Metropolitan 5K go towards executing our impactful community programs such as Kicks for Kids and the annual Holiday Giveback for Atlanta Public Schools.

Vampire Run Season 7: Spellbound is creeping up on us, and if you haven’t secured your spot yet, you’re missing out on more than just a finisher medal, placement awards, and shirt.

Join us Saturday, September 26 for the Fifth Annual Ride for the Westside, presented by Chick-fil-A — a morning of biking, running, walking, and community spirit in the heart of Atlanta's historic Westside.

From 8 a.m. to noon at our 970 Jefferson HQ, neighbors, friends, and supporters come together to celebrate the legacy of English Avenue, Vine City, Ashview Heights, the Atlanta University Center, and Just Us — and to fuel restoration without displacement for the families who've called these neighborhoods home for generations.

What's on the route:
🚲 10-mile bike loop through the historic Westside
🏃🏽 5K run (a Northside Hospital Peachtree Road Race qualifier)
🚶🏾‍♀️ Heritage Walk highlighting the landmarks and stories that make the Westside the Westside.

Plus food, family activities, and a whole lot of community.
