After a long two days of rushing to get the car ready to race. We went to Dixie for their season opener. The track decided to draw pills for starting spots in a heat race instead of qualifying. I drew the last pill which put me starting 10th in the heat race. I went from 10th to 5th in 8 laps. I started the feature 9th and ended up 7th. Hopefully they can go back to qualifying to make it more fair!

Dixie nationals recap:
Buried myself in qualifying ending up 14th. That put me starting 7th in the heat race fell back to 9th then charged back up to 5th and was passing for the transfer spot on the last lap. Transferred in through the bmain which put me starting 19th and ended up finishing 10th had a car better than that just started to far back. Onto the world finals at charlotte next

Went to Dixie last Saturday started off really fast by setting fast time in our group in practice. then struggled in qualifying which ended up putting us starting 6th and finished 5th. We will be back at Dixie this weekend

Went to Dixie last night for the first time in 3 years! Qualified 3rd and finished 2nd! Felt good to show great speed at the home track against a stacked field
