It’s a beautiful day for a milestone BIRTHDAY! 🎉 Let’s all wish a very Happy 50th to Lindsay! 🥳🎂
We love her bold energy and the way she doesn't hold back from sharing it with others - she’s outspoken, straightforward, and transparent - what you see is what you get, no fake stuff and no nonsense. Her encouraging nature reflects in her teaching as she empowers and inspires students to find their own authenticity, strength and focus. 💪
She may be high energy, but she’s got a laid-back attitude that rolls with the punches and balances intensity with softness. Lindsay can laugh things off and doesn’t take life, or herself, too seriously. And if given the chance, she’ll chat your ear off about a good book 📚 (Dungeon Crawler Carl, anyone?) 😜
If you want to get a boost from Lindsay and experience the awesome vibes she transfers, you’ll have to get up early! ⏰You’ll find her Warm Power class at 6:30am on Wednesdays - so set your alarm, it’s worth it 💯

Alison brings back her side-gig business of mala-making (.creations) to share her experience and skills with you.
You’ll spend time learning about the meaning of this meditation tool and creating one for yourself (or perhaps as a gift). Our time together will also include mediation, movement breaks, and snacks! 😊

Congratulations to Ashley Duryea - she's in our Student Spotlight for May!👏
Ashley took her first class at gruvnYOGA in Sept 2022 and while it was another year before she settled into a consistent practice, she's been a steady student ever since and has surpassed 250 hours!
She's a fan of morning Vinyasa but we've also seen her in Yin and weekend Gentle Flows. And she was very dedicated to the Sattva practice when it was offered. She always shows up with a smile and a positive attitude, a friendly face that greets newcomers, and shares her warmth with others in our community before and after class. Her cheerful presence lifts us up and inspires others.💫
What keeps you coming back to your mat?
"Yoga keeps bringing me back to my mat because it creates space for both stillness and strength. It clears my head, quiets the noise, and helps me reconnect with myself and something higher than me. On the mat, I find perspective, peace, and gratitude. It is where I reset, realign, and remember what truly matters most."
Can you share a benefit of your practice that's helped the most?
"My yoga practice has given me one of the greatest gifts—a peaceful mind and a body that feels strong, flexible, and good to live in. It helps me slow down, breathe, and see life with a better perspective. The balance it creates between mind and body is what has helped me most, both on and off the mat every single day."
How do you enjoy time off the mat?
"I enjoy the simple things that fill life with meaning—time with family and friends, the blessing of being a mom, life with my sweet husband, the adventure of travel, and being part of my church community. I have so many interests, but they all center around connection, joy, and making the most of each day."
