Who We Are and What We Do

Southern Tennis Champions is a year-round tennis academy in Marietta, Georgia that specializes in developing players for tournament competition, private tennis coaching, and Junior Summer Camps. The junior tennis development ranges from complete beginner to high performance tennis player. This junior tennis academy develops players by building strong tennis foundations of technique, fitness, footwork, and match play. This advanced tennis training ranges from court management and mental toughness to advanced stroke technique tactical planning. STC builds champions from the ground up.

Philosophy

Building a competitive foundation takes place over several years. Players rely on this process for setting and attaining realistic goals, guaranteeing improvement, and managing expectations. Results are important. The most important results are those achieved at the later in the developmental process when players head toward advanced tournament competition, interscholastic participation, and a potential college career or beyond. Knowing and understanding that the development is long term helps keep players both motivated and focused throughout their careers.
