Parents, before you announce to the dance teacher that your child has stage fright and probably won't walk on stage to perform (in front of said child), please let the dance teacher or theater director have a chance at inspiring, encouraging, uplifting, and creating a picture of all the happy faces and real applause and hotly that their performance WILL bring!! Maybe your child "outgrew" it with better understanding. Never know, might work- this time.
