📚✏️Are you going school supply shopping anytime soon? 📓📙🖍️ Eden Farms is proud to be a collection site for this summer! 🎉

Kits for Kids GVL is a volunteer-led project partnering with Miracle Hill's Foster Program to restock the Foster Shop before the school year begins. The Foster Shop lets foster children come in and choose items for themselves — school supplies, toiletries, and personal items they actually want.

Eden Farms is accepting donations July 27th through 31st as well as August 3rd & 4th from 9am to 2pm. You’ll see the Drop off box is by our office.

Here's what's needed most:
🎒New, unopened packages of underwear (kid sizes S–XL or adult sizes S–XL)

School supplies: Ticonderoga pencils, mechanical pencils, pens, Expo dry erase markers, Sharpie markers, disinfectant wipes, paper towels, tissue boxes

Bonus item(s): these aren’t required but they’re some of the most needed items for older kids: Headphones or earbuds, deodorant, African American hair products (like the brand, Cantu), and restaurant gift cards for foster families (Chick-Fil-A, Culver’s, or similar restaurants)

🧴 Toiletries — shampoo, conditioner, body wash, toothbrushes, toothpaste, face wash
🏕️ Extras — bug spray, sunscreen, duffel bags, restaurant gift cards

Please NO backpacks, socks, stuffed animals, blankets, or hand sanitizer — they're fully stocked. Every donation helps a local foster child start school feeling supported.

We have had a great time at our summer camps! From daily riding lessons and trail rides to learning horse healthcare and nutrition, our campers have learned so much about the wonderful world of horses both in the saddle and on the ground!
