🔥🏹🦌🔥 Mock Scrapes.
Our mock scrape combos have been around for almost 2 decades. Many a hunters wall has the proof that our Gland Lures, BUCK’n Serious! “Bonehead” and BUCK’n Serious! “RANDY” have put wall hangers in bow range at scrapes and rubs for years. Mock Scrapes are a valuable tool, a game changer if you will. I advise folks, where possible, to create scrape lines. At least 3 scrapes or more in a given area. Tree lines, food plot edges, trails, transition areas, are all places of past success. If a buck can stand at one scrape and see the next one you are in good shape. If you use ropes I’d spray not only the rope but also the limbs of the tree it’s on when possible. Make your scrape large initially. Flashy, as a trapper might say, for eye appeal. Remember you can bend down limbs or bend over smaller trees to use the canopy as the licking branch. These scrapes have value throughout the season. Yes, PreRut and the Rut they are great. But, Don’t discount the Post peak of the rut and well into January. Some bucks will stay focused on breeding until they shed. Thats why you find worked scrapes in Turkey season.
